Notes From Fixtures Sec

Just a few important points to remember for the new season, and an outline of how the Season 11/12 will be run. The new season will commence on Saturday 3rd September2011, there will be 3 weeks of mid week fixtures to HOPEFULLY get a good start to the season.

THE LIFE RULE

ALL please be aware of the LIFE Rule. Each team has 1 life to take during the season. This has to be requested ATLEAST 7 DAYS in advance of the fixture. Therefore if your fixture is on a Saturday the life has to be requested by MIDNIGHT on the previous Saturday. ALL LIFE REQUESTS have to come from your CLUB SECRETARY....They will not be accepted from MANAGERS....ALL Managers please be aware that we will not be entering into debates this year with MANAGERS!!!!. The only reason a manager should have to contact us is to report a result, anything else needs to be done through your Club Secretary PLEASE...

FIXTURES AND RESULTS

Results can be rung through to the number in the book, but prefereably we would like them on email, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it results should be in by 2pm on a Saturday and 6pm on a Sunday, PLEASE try and get them in by these times. If we have to start ringing round to obtain a result this will carry a fine. PLEASE REMEMBER it is the HOME teams responsibility to report the result...Could we also remind Secretaries that you need to inform us if you have a team that is participating in any County Cup Fixtures, and also of the results of these fixtures. There is a FULL SEASON worth of fixtures on the website,, but please remember that these can be altered ANYTIME upto MIDNIGHT on the Monday preceeding the Fixture. Basically if you look at the Website on a Tuesday Morning the fixtures you see cannot be altered without consultation with you first. If a team is unable to fulfil the fixture after this time, it will be treated as a non fulfilment. Again this year each age group from 11-17 will have 2 cup competitions. These will be drawn at the Septembers Club Meeting, and will run in the same format as previous years.
